Surgical & Endoscopy Care for North Port Patients

North Port sits across the county line in Sarasota County, about 12 miles up US-41 from our office at 4245 Kings Hwy, Unit A, Port Charlotte. We do not have an office in North Port. North Port patients travel to our Port Charlotte office for consultations and follow-up visits with our four board-certified general surgeons.
Outpatient procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD), are performed at Murdock Surgery Center (1400 Education Way, Port Charlotte). It sits on the North Port side of Port Charlotte, closer to North Port than our office. Hospital surgery is performed at AdventHealth Port Charlotte (2500 Harbor Blvd).
Getting to our office from North Port
From North Port, follow US-41 (Tamiami Trail) southeast through Port Charlotte, then take Harbor View Road to Kings Highway. The drive is about 12 miles.

Planning your visit from North Port
- Call us directly or book a colonoscopy or EGD consultation online. If your primary care doctor is referring you, their office can fax referrals and records to (941) 391-6937.
- Because colonoscopy and EGD use sedation, an adult must drive you home. Confirm your driver for the round trip before your procedure day.
- Colonoscopy prep kits are available for purchase at our front desk, so you can pick one up during your consultation visit.
Our surgeons
John Guarino M.D., F.A.C.S., Matthew Tufts M.D., F.A.C.S., Vincent Brown M.D., and Charles Campbell D.O. all perform colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), gallbladder surgery, inguinal and umbilical hernia repair, and port placement. Dr. Brown sees patients in English and Spanish.
